Film Production

When you want to tell your life story, we bring the production crew to you and film in a familiar setting. We work with you to organise a half day shoot at your home, community area or relaxed office setting.

Interviews aren't scripted, so you don't need to remember your lines. Each of our interviews are skilled at making you relaxed and ready to talk naturally. Our makeup artist will take care of any on screen glare or touchups which may be required.

And whilst we may have 2-3 cameras filming you simulataneously, these are soon forgotten as your tell your life story.

You at home

We bring the production team of cameraman, interviewer and makeup artist to you. The set is relaxed with a lounge and a face to face seating arrangement with the interviewer. Throughout the half day of filming we take breaks when needed and also film your surroundings where you have photos or a garden/outdoor setting.

Preserving your History

Every interview is unique and your story has historical significance. Each life story filmed becomes a 30-60 minute production. We talk about the stages of your life from the early days of childhood, family, education through to work life. These cover endeavour, hardship and challenge, and that need to be told and recorded.

Shared or kept safe

Share your story with your family and community now by giving them a story of your life on a range of media formats. Or we can make it available to loved ones upon your passing. Life Storage gives you the option of having the filming distributed to your loved ones when instructed by the Executor of your Will.

Husband and wife team, Vincenzo and Geraldine Lubrano started selling Italian wine and foods in a small corner store in Hurstville Grove in the 1950’s, supplying Italian families in the western suburbs the foods they had grown up with. From this experience in creating speciality food products, Vincenzo bought the original Sandhurst Farms in 1965 and began growing pickles. With a strong set of long held family recipes, they began preserving olives in jars and providing European migrants with food that they yearned for – Chillies, Mixed Pickled Vegetables and Red Cabbage Salads. It was sold in 1975 and re-established as Sandhurst Fine Foods in 1988 with the idea of bringing international food trends to Australian consumers. Soon new products were also developed including Sun Dried Tomatoes, Eggplant, Artichoke and Jalapeno Peppers.

Mimmo is the son of Vince and Geraldine who runs the family business today with his brother Ray. They look after separate areas of the business with Mimmo specialising in Sales and Marketing whilst his brother Ray controls Manufacturing, Operations and Finance. Mimmo said, “Time-honoured family traditions haven’t simply inspired our business, they are our business. Many of our preserving techniques and recipes are much as they have been for centuries with closely-guarded recipes for marinades and pickling passed down through generations of the Lubrano family.”
